(3) Measure 4 points in circumference with vernier calipers of accuracy over 0.05mm, h1, h2, H3 and h4, adjust the bolts horizontally to make H1 = h3, and adjust the bolts up and down of the guide rod bracket to make h2 = h4, as shown in Figure 9-4. The adjustment error is controlled according to the tolerance given in the table above. Measuring the clearance between the inner hole at the tail of the barrel and the screw with a plug ruler makes delta 1 = delta 3 and delta 2 = Delta 4, as shown in Fig. 9-5. The level of the guide rod of the launching platform should be measured by the level meter, as shown in Fig. 9-6. After adjustment, tighten the fastening bolts on the front and rear guide rod brackets and the locking nuts on both sides of the front support respectively.
